I am also suspicious that there are missing diary entries in Project Tracking for other contracts as well. |

No. 509 | Contract 20051213031 FieldNet Id fmgr03u This contract has successfully done a merge and send several times with some contract additions and corrections correctly uploading. There are two traffic impediments the one that is listed under roadway number 4 has an actual end date listed in FIT prior to the send but it does not show up in Project Tracking or the QCQA. Prior to the last send I informed the project manager that he needed to enter himself under the staff information and remove the duplicate entry for Tracy Kamps. Barry Paye was added at that time but they told me FIT did not have a duplicate entry for Tracy Kamps. After the last merge and send Barry did show up in Project Tracking but there is still a duplicate entry for Tracy that shouldn't be there. |
These types of issues do not belong here. This is likely data or user issue and for this type of problem we should be called on the support line immediately. |

No. 508 | Under the Status Information Warranty, Forms, and Remarks all three remarks boxes truncate. Partial Acceptance Remarks prints 5.5 lines, Completion Certificate Comments 3.5 lines, and Status Remarks 8 lines. These boxes should print all data that is entered. |
I have resized these field. I would caution you to keep all remarks short. |

No. 507 | The Late Estimate report is not populating any dates? This was first reported in 2004 the report had worked in a previous release but not since then. David had mentioned that the work suspended, work started, and work completed are pulling from the site events tab. This area of FieldManager has never been used for work started or work completed, it is only used if work is suspended. The criteria for the report is On - work started etc... So the report is using the correct work started field to populate the contracts on the reports but the date on the report is blank. |

The Area Supervisor and Project Manager and the Project Manager incorrectly list the Project Leader on the print out. The print out should be what is on the screen in Project Tracking, Project Leader, Project Manager, and Supervisor. |

Please put them back because this is used as a report and it is much easier to read on paper with the lines between each vendor column and line than it is without them. If you need an example of what I mean, highlight a vendor and then go to the payroll login screen. This screen has the borders around each field shown and it makes it much easier to read. |

This is a data issue. The completion certificate is not printing due to the lack of a record in the code table for county 'D003'. This value is on the contract record in field 'cncnty1' for this contract as 'D003'. |

No. 473 | The FIT Upload Activity report is not reporting all id's that have sent uploads from FIT. As an example, I was checking to see that I received info from an upload that was sent by my id (fmgr060) on Tuesday. The info was not in PT yet, so I went to see when the last upload for fmgr060 was. That id is not in the list. There should be an upload listed for that id from last week (9/26-27) because I sent info from FIT and PT was updated with the info. |
This appears to be a problem in the current version of FIT. We will address this in the next version. |

No. 447 | In FIT when importing or exporting a contract, it asks for a password. The password used to be SYSTEM. Now it is just blank & hit enter. However, it is not consistent. Some computers with the new version of FIT still use SYSTEM as the password. Others will use just the blank. At this point, there is no consistency in what can be used. |
The export/import is controlled by the password you entered under the administration menu item and can be changed for every install. Look in the ini file for the current setting. To gain access to the administration menu use SYSADMIN ( this never changes) and see what the export / import password is set to. |

No. 438 | Under the OJT tab, when I went to assign vendor id PA66, Pavex Construction, to Jason Barglind and Michael Zutz, this vendor does not appear as a choice under company name and cannot be assigned. We need to be able to assign this vendor to each of these two individuals so that their OJT hours can be entered. When one goes to the Reference tab, Pavex Construction appears as vendor id PA66 and appears between Pavement Specialist, Inc. PA65 and Paving Mix & Construction PA67. This vendor, Pavex Construction, also must appear on the OJT tab. |
This appears to be a data problem with PA66 and we have resolved this in the curent release. |

No. 437 | The FIT system should not allow a user to create an exact duplicate of a Traffic Impediment/restriction OR Traffic Impediment/closure record. When you create a record, on screen 6 of 6, if the user select Save and Create Another. A duplicate record is created and it can be saved. |
These are not duplicate records. A unique key is assigned to each record. If the user wishes to enter the same information twice they can do so, but why a user would do such a thing is open to question. |

What has changed since the March letting? No problem view that months contracts. |

No. 408 | This is the solution to problem number 418. The short version is McAfee Internet Security was enabled. The long version is I was told two things by the consultant. He had downloaded a trialware of McAfee Internet Security which had expired. (Although expired, it was still enabled.) He also told me the McAfee Firewall was disabled and it was but Internet Security was still running. The old McAfee program had "Learned" that the DOTCOM program (FMAIL) was allowed to access the internet therefore when the new McAfee Internet Security program was loaded it continued to let FMAIL access the internet. When I uninstalled DOTCOM, FMAIL was removed from the "internet access" list. The new McAfee program is configured to block internet access rather than ask what to do. Any questions? No. 406 | When sending FIT data I get an FMAIL error "Run-time error '5': Invalid procedure call or argument." When I click "OK" another FMAIL message appears "Unable to establish conncection Fieldnet server." Sometimes the phone connection is killed. The FIT.ZIP file is in C:\Dotpt\Pback\Outbox and it contains 45 files. This is a Windows 2000 computer. The latest versions of the FIT/MIT/COM/COPY programs are installed. In fact, I reinstalled FIT and COM after I got the FMAIL error the first time. I will send the error messages in a separate email. |

No. 403 | Regarding issue 408 again: The view orientation for the daily diary is landscape, however no matter how you change the print settings it still only prints in portrait cutting off part of the report! If you don't believe me, contact me & I will send you a copy what it prints along with step by step screen prints of what I did to show that it is not user error. There is the same report in FIT. The view orientation for the FIT report is in portrait and it prints in portrait. It is the same exact information and report, but it is correct in FIT and not in FIT. Atwood Systems comment to issue 408 says that landscape is the required format for all information to fit on the report in PT, however it is in portrait in FIT and all info fits just fine. |
